WHAT THE COURSE COVERS
- Close Protection Roles & Responsibilities — understanding team structures, position roles, and the expectations of professional CP operators
- Advance Planning & Reconnaissance — planning and executing advance work, site assessments, and route planning
- Threat & Risk Assessment — identifying, evaluating and mitigating threats to principal safety
- Protective Formations & Principal Handling — formations for foot, vehicle and venue-based protection including immediate action drills
- Venue & Route Selection — secure venue assessment, route selection and contingency planning
- Communications Protocols — covert and overt communication systems, radio discipline, team coordination
- Immediate Action Drills — reaction to threats, extraction procedures, and emergency response protocols
- Low-Profile Protection Techniques — discreet, non-overt close protection methods for high-profile principals
- SMEAC Operational Planning — situation, mission, execution, admin, command — structured operational orders for CP tasks
- Firearms Safety & Live Fire (CAT H) — firearms handling, safety protocols, and live-fire range exercises under qualified supervision

Graduates of the Panoptic Close Protection Operatives Course will receive the following nationally recognised certifications:
Panoptic Solutions Close Protection Graduate Certificate
Certificate III in Close Protection
Nationally recognised qualification for close protection operatives (CPP31521 or equivalent)
Certificate II in Security Operations
Foundation security qualification (CPP20218 or equivalent)
Advanced First Aid + Trauma Management
Advanced first aid with trauma-specific components relevant to CP operations
Firearms & Weapons Safety (CAT H)
Category H firearms safety certification including live-fire range component
